2018 Make a Wish WNY/ 97 Rock Radiothon

Over the course of the last 24 years The Make a Wish WNY/ 97 Rock Radiothon has brought in over $3 million to benefit children in the Western New York area. Thursday afternoon I was able to spend some of my time on the auction lines helping take calls.

Make a Wish WNY is one of the first organizations I began to volunteer with over 9 years ago and it has opened my life to a whole new world. To be able to help give back and help a child see their wish come true is one of the best feelings in the world.

The Radiothon runs until 10am on Friday 9/14, so there is still plenty of time to donate online, stop by the Eastern Hills Mall to drop off a donation in person or call the pledge line (716) 587-8500 or the auction line (716) 587-8577. Another safe indoor trick or treating event takes place at ECC's North Campus on Saturday. The Annual Safe and Seen event takes place from 11-3pm. This year proceeds benefit the Make a Wish of Western New York Foundation. For more event info go to their website.

Friday, join in the creative, black tie gala at Hotel Lafayette for Revo, Independence Celebration. Proceeds benefit the Veterans One Stop Center. For more info and tickets click here.
