Hope, Strength & Joy

In April of 2009 I began volunteering with an organization very close to my heart. The Make a Wish Foundation of Western New York provides hope, strength and joy* to children with life threatening illnesses. During these last few years I have been a part of wonderful events the organization has held and met and granted a lot of wishes for children that have touched my life. Hearing their stories and seeing their faces when a wish is fulfilled - nothing beats that moment when you know you helped provide a memorable experience during a difficult time.
