Welcome to Just a Blonde in Buffalo! My name is Beth and I’ve grown up in Buffalo, NY all my life. I am an experienced event planner in the Western New York area and have a passion for bringing a simple idea to reality. I love to try new things and meet new people. Having had the opportunity to travel all over the world has made me appreciate this city I have called home, so much more.

I started this blog to share my thoughts and experiences on Buffalo with you. I will be talking about a variety of topics such as sports, events, fashion, food, entertainment, and more. Buffalo has “some” exciting things to offer and you may even learn something you didn’t know before. I want people to know about the great things in this area.

This city has so much history, beautiful architecture, we put on some amazing events, we have great food, unique local stores line the streets of Elmwood and Hertel Ave., and even though are sports teams aren’t the greatest sometimes, we have the best fans around and I believe we will win a championship soon!

My hopes for this blog are to have more people visit the Buffalo area, plan their trips here, and to maybe change at least one person’s life for the better. I believe in following your dreams, no matter how big or small they may be. I encourage you to do the same.

Whether you’re a Western NY native or not, I hope you enjoy!

  1. LOVE your blog! Happy to see someone blogging about Buffalo and trying to get more people to this city! There is a lot of great things to do & see here, its not all about the snow! ha 🙂

  2. I’ve lived in NYC for almost 25 years now but I’m a Buffalo native who misses snow and loves watching the development of condos in old buildings, the conversion of space where the Aud was and lives in the same complex with people who rave about architectural tours they routinely take to Buffalo. It is truly the best kept secret. Keep doing what you’re doing, it’s wonderful!
